Vintage humeral veil for Catholic priest sourced in Brittany, France.
There is a stamp on the lining that indicates it comes from a community based in Lannion.
Across the back is a large cross design made with cotton threads, metallic threads, beads and dark red silky material.
The cream cotton with a satin finish has an embroidered motif all-over. Cream cotton lining.
There are many imperfections from age and use.
The metal clasp at the front has some corrosion marks as seen in the photographs.
The cream fabrics have a yellow / light brown discolouration in large places.
Some rust stains, pulled threads and small tears.
The embroidered parts on the cream background are worn and there are some loose threads.
The cross design has some faults too. The red material is torn and worn, some beads are missing.

DELIVERIES

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.
'Sales tax' is for US customers only.

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
