Very unusual pair of vintage frames with depictions of Jesus and Mary.

Mid 20th century.

According to the person I bought them from, they were brought back as a souvenir from Lourdes.

Molded silver plastic sheet with pink and green painted details. Protected by glass.

The faces and hands are made of paper that was glued to the plastic. It seems to be photographic paper. Jesus' beard and hair have been hand coloured.

The paper is getting unstuck at the edges as can be seen in the photographs. Yellow marks are visible underneath and around. Probably some damage to the silver caused by the glue.

Top left corner on the Jesus portrait is broken.

The frames are damaged especially at the bottom as visible in the pictures.

Backing with card. One has a small hole.

Small loops at the back to hang.

Size of each frame: 34.2 x 44 cm or 13.46 x 17.32 inches.

The pictures are part of the description.

Import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
