Very unusual pair of vintage frames with portraits of Jesus and Mary.
Mid 20th century.
According to the previous owner, they were brought back as a souvenir from Lourdes.
Molded silver plastic sheet with pink and green painted details. 
The faces and hands are made of paper that was glued to the plastic. It seems to be photographic paper. Jesus' beard and hair have been hand coloured.
The paper is getting unstuck in large places as can be seen in the photographs. The paper has curled as a result.
Some yellow glue marks are visible underneath and around the paper parts. 
Small damages to the silver layer caused by the glue.
Top left corner on both portraits is broken. There are other small breaks in the plastic.
The top right side on the Mary's portrait has a long break in the silver.
The frames are very damaged especially at the bottom as visible in the pictures.
The card at the back has traces of liquid / humidity damage which could explain why the frames have so many parts missing at the front. The paint is completely gone at the bottom of the frames.
One hole in the card at the back of one frame. The nails used to attach the cards to the frames are rusty.
One small loop on the back of each frame to hang on the wall.
Size of each frame: approx. 34.2 x 44 cm / 13.38 x 17.32 inches.

DELIVERIES

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.

- For US CUSTOMERS: the new tariff is added at the checkout under the name 'Sales tax'. IF YOU ARE BUYING AS A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION, MESSAGE ME AS YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE TO PAY IT.
Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
