Beautiful and rare figurine of St Barbara (St Barbe in French as written on the base). She is represented with her tower and a sword.
It has been manufactured from bisque porcelain and delicately hand-painted with gilt highlights. 
The colours and the gilt have rubbed off in places.
The base and some details are glazed.
Stains, discolouration and other flaws. The painting was not done perfectly so the colours are very uneven.
