Unusual and extremely rare antique pewter Holy water font. 
It is marked at the back: Joseph Neidhart in Schlaggenwald (Western Bohemia). The writing is partly erased.

Beautiful depiction of Jesus on the cross and ornate decor. Cherubs at the top.  
The lid as the eye of providence on. This symbol was linked to the Illuminati and Freemasons.
Some details are worn like the face of Christ or the cherubs.
Small loop at top but the font stands well on a flat surface.
The small recipient is distorted as can be seen in the photographs. 
White stains at the hinges of the lid. Signs of heavy use inside the recipient.
Marks, stains and scratches commensurate with age and use.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
