Antique French book on the Jugurthine war between the Romans and King Jugurtha of Numidia. 
The full title in French is "Histoire de la guerre des Romains contre Jugurta roy des Numides, et l'histoire de la conjuration de Catilina." which translates as "History of the war of the Romans against Jugurtha, king of the Numidians, and the history of the conspiracy of Catiline"
Work by Sallust, translated in French.
Published in Paris by 'La Veuve de Claude Barbin'.
Dated 1701.
The leather cover is very damaged, stained and worn. The leather is missing at the corners.
The pastedown has a part that was torn at the beginning. The first endsheet is missing.
Writing in ink as seen in a photograph. Date in pencil at the front and ink marks too.
The interior is in fairly good condition considering the age of the book. Small imperfections such as stains, folds and creases or occasional small tear. 
Yellow discolouration of the paper in places.
Binding threads sometimes visible.

Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
