Large antique dark painted wood crucifix with porcelain Corpus Christi and base. Late 19th century. From Belgium.
The Corpus Christi, INRI sign and decorations at the end of the cross are all made of porcelain. The skull and crossbones are represented on the base.
The wooden cross goes in a slot in the porcelain base and is supposed to be blocked by a nail. The nail is missing. The cross moves in the base and can be removed. It might be removed for shipping. Number 2 is engraved at the back of the base.
Some stains and imperfections commensurate with age and use as can be seen in the photographs. The porcelain decorations at the end of the cross can move around their rusty nail. The feet of Jesus are not completely against the cross. The paint of the wood is chipped in small places and scratched. Tiny holes and marks.

Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.
- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.
- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.
