Large antique dark painted wood crucifix. Porcelain base with skull and crossbones.
Late 19th century. From Belgium.

The Corpus Christi, INRI sign and decorations at the end of the cross are all made of porcelain.
The wooden cross goes in a slot in the porcelain base and is suppoded the be blocked by a nail. The mail is missing. The cross moves in the base and can be removed.
The feet of Jesus are not completely against the cross as seen in the pictures.
Number 2 marked at the back of the base.

Some stains and imperfections commensurate with age and use as can be seen in the photographs.
The porcelain decorations at the end of the cross can move around their nail.
The paint of the wood is chipped in small places. Tiny holes.
