French antique glass beaded funeral bouquet from the early 20th century. It is meant to be displayed on a flat surface as it has a stand at the back. This is quite unusual.
Seven flowers and some branches with leaves are tied together with a large bow at the bottom. They are made with venitian glass beads (white and clear) and wire. Everything is attached to thicker wire.
Handmade in France.
I dont think it was used as the cotton thread around the metal is still in good condition (just a bit dusty and stained).
Some small faults due to age such as rust spots or small breaks are possible.
Some petals and leaves are a bit distorted from being in storage. They can be adjusted but that shouldn't be done too often as the wire is old and could break.
It does stand well but the whole stand could be secured by adding some wire or sting at the back.
Distortion of the metal, imperfections in the bead work and small signs of age.
Size at the front: approx. 72 x 40 cm / 28.34 x 15.74 inches
Diameter of flower: approx. 11 cm / 4.33
