French antique wood and ormolu altar crucifix with a bisque Corpus Christi.
The cross and its base are made of wood covered with gesso and gold paint. 
The gold has lost its shine as it looks like the cross was left exposed to dust for a long time. 
The gesso and paint are cracking and flaking in places. the colour has faded in other parts.
The ormolu decorations were also painted gold and have tarnished. 
The colour is gone in several little areas.
Slightly distorted in places. It bends very easily but if done too often the metal will break.
It will be packed very carefully but some small pieces could still break when unpacking as some parts are very close to breaking point.
The Corpus Christi and INRI sign are made of bisque porcelain. 
The INRI sign moves around the nail. 
They are stained especially at the back and on the sides of Jesus.
The three nails seem to be different. The most recent one is a bit too short and comes off easily. It might need to be replaced.

DELIVERIES

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
