French antique Virgin Mary statue made of porcelain in the late 19th Century.
The face is still delicately painted (one eye has faded).
The gold details have rubbed off in places as can be seen in the photographs.
She has a bent knee so her pose, for once, is not symetrical and it gives an idea of mouvement. Beautiful and unusual!
One chip just above a hand (can be seen in the close up photograph of the hand).

24.4 x 10.5 cm / 9.44 x 3.9 inches

The pictures are part of the description.
