French antique engraving of the Virgin Mary in an unusual frame as there is glass on both sides.
Written at the bottom: 'Souvenir de la consécration à la T. S. Vierge' (T. S. stand for Très Sainte) which translates as 'Remembrance of the consecration to the Blessed Virgin'.
At the back is the text for the consecration of Jean-François Le Metayer (hand-written).
The engraving is really beautiful and in good condition. The colours are still vivid.

The paper is thin so the writings are visible on the illustration side if the frame is held in certain lights.
Very solid wood frame that is scratched, stained and has several little holes and imperfections.
A piece of wood is missing at the back as two rusty nails are exposed.
The glass also has several imperfections and stains.
Nothing to hang but the frame is so thick it actually stands by itself. There was a ribbon at the top but it was cut. A small nail at the back is out by a millimeter or two so a string could be tied around.

Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
