French antique triptych depicting Jesus on the cross and the resurrection.
From a shop in Paris according to the label underneath the easel part.
Early 20th century.
Leather and velvet case with  easel at the back to dipslay on a flat surface.
The easel has been damaged and repaired by a previous owner. Some card has been glued to the leather but that will need to be redone at some point as it is not very strong. The triptych cannot stand without it. A loop could be added at the back to hang on the wall.
The system for closure is not complete. The leather has loads of scratches, damages and wear.
The purple velvet inside is also very worn as seen in the photographs.
This triptych has been very heavily used but still looks fantastic!
