Beautiful French antique St Francis of Assisi embroidery in gold frame.

St Francis with a halo, a cross and skull is represented in clouds.
'St François' is written at the bottom.
Canvas is beige and has one large stain on the left side.
The colours of the threads are faded.

Wood and gesso frame with glass.
It has some parts missing as can be seen in the photographs.
One break just under the oval opening.
Scratches and stains.
Paper backing is torn in places.

Loop at the back missing (there is a hole).
