Missal or Catholic prayer book bound in brown leather with gold embossed decor and lettering.
'Missel des catacombes'  with some engravings made by M. Méaulle inspired by the paintings of the Roman catacombs. The drawings engraved are by Ciappori et Merson.
Undated but there is the name of the first owner at the front embossed in fabric and the date 2nd June 1918.
Mostly in French. Some texts in Latin too.

The leather cover is in good condition with minor scratches.
The pages have a few stains here and there.
The gold edge of the paper block is still in great condition.
Little imperfections are always possible but I haven't noticed anything too serious.
Bookmark was torn at the end.
In a black case that is partially broken and stained inside. I have kept it to protect the leather.

DELIVERIES

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
