Translated by Le maistre de Sacy and published in Paris in 1853.
It contains 180 engravings from Raphaël, Michel Angelo, Rubens etc...
The leather part of the cover has been damaged.
The pages are very worn at the beginning of the book and are stained and discoloured.
The illustrations are visible at the reverse as the paper is really thin.
Some brown spots and small imperfections commensurate with age and use.
