French antique Holy  prayer card or  'canivet' with hidden picture depicting Jesus and the Sacred Heart.
An embossed and painted paper with lilies is covering the image. It opens in the middle.

Its made of a finely cut paper that has been damaged because of heavy use. Some parts are missing.
Stains and discolouration as seen in the photographs.
Fold marks, tears and worn parts. Some parts could easily fall because of the tears. It will need to handle very carefully.
Stamp at the back that is partly erased.
It is a beautiful and unusual piece but is very delicate.
