French antique depiction of Mary with Jesus in her arms (Pieta).  Calcareous stone.
The details have disappeared as the carving is very worn.
Napoleon III oval frame .
The frame is made of black wood and has some small scratches and marks . 
The glass and the backing are missing. A previous owner has put some balck tape at the back.
