Antique dark painted wood crucifix. Porcelain base with skull and crossbones.
Late 19th century. From Belgium.

The Corpus Christi, INRI sign and decorations at the end of the cross are all made of porcelain.
The wooden cross goes in a slot in the porcelain base and is blocked by plaster.

Some stains and imperfections commensurate with age and use as can be seen in the photographs.
Large stains that I can't remove at the foot of the cross behind the skull (glue or resin maybe).
The porcelain decorations at the end of the cross can move around their nail. One of them is a bit loose so won't stay in its right position.
The paint of the wood is chipped in places.

Total height: 38.8 cm / 14.96 inches
Width: 15.5 cm / 5.90 inches
