Antique dark painted wood crucifix with bisque porcelain Corpus Christi and porcelain base.
Early 20th century. From Belgium.
The INRI sign is also made of bisque porcelain.
The wooden cross goes in a slot in the porcelain base and is blocked by plaster underneath as seen in one photograph. The cross moves a bit so it is not completely straight.
The base is black and white with stripes.
Some stains and imperfections commensurate with age and use as can be seen in the photographs.
The black paint of the wood is very worn in places (especially on the sides of the cross).
The surface of the wood has some surface wear, stains, small chips and scratches.
The colour is not even.
The Corpus Christi was broken and repaired. A crack and some white paint can be seen around one shoulder. A crack is visible at the back of the other shoulder but everything holds well.
Stains and imperfections on the porcelain. A large chip on the fingers of one hand.
A fine crack is visible on one leg.
Nails and metal loops used to attach the Corpus to the wood are rusty.
The INRI sign moves freely around the nail. It has left light traces on the wood. It has stains and imperfections.
At least one small chip visible on the base. The paint is worn and missing in places. Traces, imperfections and wear to the surface.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.
- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.
- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.
