Antique tavel oratory wooden case containing a crucifix and a small metal figurine of Our Lady. Please note, a second figurine is missing.
The wooden crucifix is marked 'Jerusalem' and has 14 mother of pearl circles representing the stations of the cross at the back. The front is covered with engraved mother of pearl. It is a beautiful souvenir from a pilgrimage to the Holy land.
The figurine is very worn and has corrosion marks. It is marked NLD at the bottom and CC at the back. The silver colour is gone in large places.
A second figurine should be on the other side of the crucifix but it is missing.
Marks and imperfections commensurate with age and use.
The top of the box is very worn. The initials A K are painted in gold but they are fading.
Stains, scratches and small damages to the wood.
The interior is made of a soft material that has some wear.
The crucifix has some stains, scratches and small cracks but it is complete. The numbers on the circles for the stations have almost completely faded. The word 'Jerusalem' has faded too.
Wood and end decorations are worn.
Large crack in the wood visible at the back.
Gold painted metal Corpus Christi.
There is a small hole at the top of the crucifix so a string or thin metal loop could be attached.

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
