Antique St Therese of Lisieux portrait on Limoges porcelain plaque.
In thick wooden frame.
St Therese and her roses are beautifully detailled using a 'paste on paste' technique. It is so delicate.
Artist signature at the bottom: 'Leduc' and 'Limoges'. Adrien Leduc was active in Limoges between 1919 and 1954.
This plaque could come from the Camille Tharaud workshop like the other two I have in my shop but I can't be sure as I can't see the back of the plaque. His workshop produced a lot with this technique.
The plaque is in good condition with only two or three very tiny imperfections I could spot. 
The frame has some scratches, imperfections and small chips at the front.
The card backing was nailed to the frame. More nails were added by a previous owner and it damaged all the sides of the frame.
Framer's shop label at the back. 
Black card is worn.
Metal loop at the back to hang on the wall.

Size of plaque (visible part at the front): 13 x 8.1 cm / 5.11 x 3.18 inches

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
