Unusual, distressed and distorted antique pewter wall Holy water font. 
The Infant Jesus is represented in the arms of Mary. 'Jesus... Maria' are written at the top.
18th century.
The font has been heavily used and damaged.
The receptacle was welded quite roughly to a plaque by a previous owner. 
The plaque has two little holes on the sides to attach to a wall or a base. Two small holes at the top so it can be hung on the wall. Small loop at top made roughly with wire.
The plaque itself is so heavy  that the font will not stand on its own. It has to be placed against a wall or hung.
The plaque is slightly distorted, broken at the bottom just above the receptacle and has stains and scratches.
The small pot is completely distorted as can be seen in the photographs. It was also repaired and has melted metal in places. 
The font has been used and there are some limescale marks inside.
A beautiful and very unique object that needs a bit of care or could be used to make another piece.

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
