Beautiful painted wood plaque with Latin text for Catholic mass. Kept on the altar.

A sheet of paper is glued to the wood.
The first text in red capital letters says 'sacerdos infundit vinum, postea aquam miscendam in calice benedicit, dicens:' which translates as 'the priest pours the wine, then blesses the water mixed in the cup, saying:'
The second one says 'sacerdos lavat manus, id est extremitates digitorum pollicis et indicis, dicens:' which translates as 'the priest washes his hands, that is, the extremities of the thumb and forefinger, saying:'

Flowers painted all around. At the top, there is an angel with a musical instrument and the Sacred Heart.
A bee, a fly and a ladybird are represented amongst the flowers.

Early 20th century.
Marks and imperfections commensurate with age and use.
The paper is damaged and unstuck in places as can be seen in the photographs. Wear at the back.
