Antique brown painted plaster statue of Our Lady stepping on the snake.
A medal depicting St Benedict is attached on the base. It is written in Latin all around his effigy: BENEDICTUS, MONACHORUM PATRIARCHA - PAX which translates as BENEDICT, PATRIARCH OF THE MONKS - PEACE
Several chips (one larger one above a hand) and encrusted dust as can be seen in the photographs. 
Colour faded in places.
Base is very worn at the back.
It is a beautiful and unusual piece!
