Beautiful metal figurine of Our Lady of Pontmain. She is carrying her usual crucifix. The figurine is completely attached to a large and ornate base. 'ND de Pontmain' for Our Lady of Pontmain is written at the feet of the statue.
The silver metal is very tarnished and gone very dark in places. I have cleaned the statue but not polished it too much to leave it its patina.
It was painted and we can still see some yellowish paint on Our Lady's face. A similar shade of paint is visible at the front on the hands and robe. There are light yellow traces on some parts of the base too.
Some traces of a metallic paint are visible in small places on the pedestal and at the bottom of the statue.
The pedestal has a different symbol on each side: a cross, the sacred Heart, an anchor and what looks like a monstrance.
Marked A.F at the back.
There are some imperfections and wear from age and use.
There are stains, scratches and some wear. Marks form the mould are visible in places.
The hole underneath has been sealed by a previous owner.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.
