Beautiful handmade religious altar, niche for a statue. 
It comes with a porcelain statue of Mary holding baby Jesus. Gold details that have mosty faded.

Made of wood covered with pine cone scales. They are pinned to the wood. 
The top cross can be removed.
Some scales are missing, some are broken. All have incrusted dust... but its so delicate I didn't want to brush too hard.
Some little bits of wood are broken and some insect holes can be seen at the back (they are long gone).

The inside of the niche is covered with some beautiful paper (damaged)
