Antique tramp art oratory covered with pinecone scales. It contains a porcelain statue of Mary with the Infant Jesus.
It is a very delicate object and has some imperfections from age, use and prolonged storage.
The scales are pinned to a light wood structure. Some scales are missing and some are broken.
The oratory was exposed to dust for a very long time. I did dust it carefully with a small brush but a lot of dust is incrusted and has changed the colour of the scales.
The top cross can be removed.
Some little bits of wood are broken and some insect holes can be seen at the back (they are long gone).
The inside of the niche is covered with some beautiful paper but it is damaged and has tears and holes.
The gold details of the statue have almost completely faded. There are small imperfections.
The statue is not attached inside the niche so could be replaced.
This is a beautiful and rare object that will need a bit of care.

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
