Antique metal figurine of Louis Marie Grignon de Monfort mounted on a wooden plaque with a Holy water font. The receptacle is shell-shaped.
The figurine and the font are attached to a black painted and varnished wooden plaque. The paint and varnish have been done by a previous owner. The plaque had many insect holes (the insects are long gone) and the paint is covering them. The surface is not smooth as we can still see where the holes are.
Scratches and imperfections in the paint. Small chips to the wood. Paint is worn in small places.
The metal has almost completely lost its original gold colour. A copper tint is visible in places. Dark stains, tarnish and scratches.
The shell-shaped stoup has darkened with age and has been used. Residue traces inside.
Banner with the name in French at the top: 'Le bienheureux L M Grignon de Monfort'. 'Bienheureux' (blessed in English) is shortened and we write his name 'Grignion' these days. The banner is stained and covered in paint. The ends seem broken.
Loop at the back. The metal of the bolts at the back is rusty.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.
