Antique Jesus with crown of thorns portrait on round Limoges porcelain plaque.
In thick wooden frame.
The face of Christ is beautifully detailled using a 'paste on paste' technique.
Artist signature at the bottom: 'Crelerot' and 'Limoges'.
The card backing  is not nailed properly anymore. It only holds with the loop at the top. That allowed me to find the signature of Camille Tharaud (1878-1956) at the back of the plaque. He was a famous ceramist in France and this plaque comes from his workshop.
The frame has one very large crack at the top. There also marks, chips and scratches as can be seen in the photographs. 
The plaque is in good condition for its age. It is held by nails at the back so I suppose it could be easily removed from the frame.

Diameter of plaque (visible part at the front): 8.7 cm / 3.14 inches
Diameter of the plaque taken at the back: 10.1 cm / 3.97 inches

DELIVERIES

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.
'Sales tax' is for US customers only.

- For US CUSTOMERS: the new tariff is added at the checkout under the name 'Sales tax'. IF YOU ARE BUYING AS A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION, MESSAGE ME AS YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE TO PAY IT.
Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
