Elegant bust of Jesus in white alabaster, signed at the back Gueret. 
Jesus is shown with loose hair and beard. The carving is quite fine with features and eyes still very clear.
The Sacred Heart is visible on his chest.
He is on a marble base.
The material is solid alabaster, a matte soft marble-like slightly translucent stone. Its gives this figure a Jesus a quite beautiful radiance. 
Stains, small scratches and chips. Please note, the large grey marks are in the stone. They are not stains.
Slight discolouration in places.

Small but heavy (2.3 kilograms / 5lbs) hence the high postage price.
