Antique French Virgin Mary depiction.
Oval black painted wood frame with domed glass.
Calcareous stone or plaster. Please note, it is not flat at the back.
The depiction of Mary is beautiful. She has two tears under each eye. The Immaculate Heart has two knives.
Important scratches and chips to the wood. Some small holes too. The frame is very worn.
Paper backing was damaged and replaced so some dust is visible inside. There are also marks inside the glass. That could easily be sorted by removing the paper and cleaning.
Small stains on the glass.
One loop at the back.
