Antique French set of 3 plates. New testament illustrations.

Purple transferware produced by Sarreguemines in the late 1800s. 

They depict:
- Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary (L'annociation de la Vierge)
- Birth of Jesus Christ (naissance de Jesus Christ)
- The arrest of Jesus (Arrestation de Jesus Christ)

Diameter: 19.9 cm / 7.48"

They all have marks, scratches and signs of use as can be seen in the photographs. Some discolouration and natural imperfections too.
The beautiful borders look slightly purple now but were blue originally. The colour is not even.
Central illustrations are black.
The pictures are part of the description.
