Antique cross sold by peddlars in the 18th Century / early 19th.

Embossed lead on wood. Black tinted wood.
Made cheaply for the home with metal and wood remnants. This is why that type of crucifix is rare to find in good condition.

A base is missing and the black paint is gone at the bottom. A small loop could easily be added at the back to hang.

Marks and scratches commensurate with age as seen in the photographs.

Height: 26 cm / 10.23 inches
