It is made of painted salt dough.
Mary is standing above a church and is holding a bunch of flowers. It could be the black Madonna of Marseille judging by her outfit and the shape of the church.
She is surrounded by gold paper flowers.
The church and flowers at her feet are made of the same material.
All the elements inside the dome are attached to a base that seems to be made of card covered with sawdust.

The glass dome is glued to a paper and cardboard base (traces of glue visible around).
Some small elements have moved inside the dome so they are visible on the glass (dust and larger particules).
One flower has lost its gold on one part.
The dome is irregular in shape and has imperfections.
The cardboard base is painted brown. It has imperfections, stains, scratches and the paper is gone (or going) in places.
The three feet of the base are made of painted card too and have been glued back at least once by a previous owner. This might have to be done again at some point as it is very delicate.
Age-related wear and fade which is normal as it is over 150 years old.

This is a beautiful and rare object!

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
