Beautiful antique frame containing leaves from some of the eight ancient olive trees in the Garden of Gethsemane. The leaves are on a red velvet background. There is a piece of paper underneath with a handwritten text in French that translates as: 'Olive leaves grown on the trunks of olive trees contemporary of Our Lord in Gethsemane'. There is the name of the priest who collected the leaves and the year 1905. The ink has bled a bit.
It is all under protective glass that has small scratches and marks. It moves easily with the velvet if touched.
The very ornate frame is made of gold painted wood. It has many damages and small pieces missing. The four sides of the frame are not attached firmly anymore. A gap is visible at each corner.  Everything holds well for the moment.
There are some breaks on the decor of the frame. Some chips, cracks, scratches, discolouration and stains are visible too. Some broken parts were repainted gold by a previous owner.
The corners and sides are very damaged. It is fragile so some small pieces could fall in transit.
Nails were added in places to consolidate the frame but that damaged the wood. 
The white gesso is visible in small places.
The velvet is backed with card. The card is held in place with nails at the back. The nails are sticking out and the back of the frame is not flat.
The wood at the back is worn and has imperfections.
Two metallic loops on the sides and a piece of string so the frame is ready to be displayed on a wall.
This is a fantastic souvenir from the Holy Land.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
