Early 20th Century plaster station of the Cross depicting the fifth station, where Simon of Cyrene helps Jesus carry the cross to Calvary. 
This would be from a decommissioned French Church or chapel. 
The image has the inscription V at the top and the script 'Jesus aidé par Simon le Cyrenéen' below.

There is some clear flaking to the surface paint. 
Some chips and stains as well. 
The colours are not vivid anymore as it was left exposed to the dust for a very long time.

The back has a metal fixture which would allow wall hanging.

Size without back loop: 36 x 52 x 5 cm / 14.25 x 20.5 x 1.96 Inches 
Please note this weighs over 3.5 kilos / 8 lbs so shipping is expensive.
