Beautiful and unusual small altar in a box frame.

Mid-20th century.
 
The Infant Jesus in painted bisque is on a red velvet cushion. A piece of wood behind him.
Dried flowers and miniature candle holders on each side.
Underneath the altar is a miniature Nativity scene.
The box is covered in textured wallpaper.
Velvet and gold trim around the glass.
 
There are small marks and imperfections.
Some dust under the glass.
Writing in pen at the back of the box.
