Beautiful medallion with a reverse painting on an albaster plaque with a porcelain Holy water font. The alabaster is attached with just one small piece of metal and string to a plaque covered with blue velvet. The alabaster and font move easily as seen in the photographs.The painting is a portrait of a young man with a blue robe holding a book. It is probably a Saint but there is no indication and not enough attributes to be sure of his identity.
Small chips, rust marks, stains and discolouration on alabaster and porcelain. Scratches and one very fine crack are visible on the alabaster.The painting is in good condition.The blue velvet is slightly discoloured.The material at the back is getting unstuck in places.Could be hung on the wall with the string loop at the back.Size blue velvet plaque: 16.5 x 10 cm / 6.29 x 3.93 inchesSize alabster plaque: approx. 11.2 x 6.6 cm / 4.33 x 2.36 inches

Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.
- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
