Beautiful and rare book from the Exposition universelle of 1889 held in Paris. The Eiffel tower was built for this world fair!
The cover is very damaged but the images are pretty much intact! the paper has discoloured.
They are all protected by some tissue paper. One is detached and several have been folded.

General view from the Tour du Temple, the coloured fontains, the ship of Paris, the galery of machinery, the Eiffel Tower, the palace of free arts, the history of habitation, the Trocadero , the street of Cairo, the pagode of Angkor.
Most places photographed do not exist anymore as they were created only for the fair. The trocadro has changed a lot since that time!
