Rare find! Vintage French first Holy communion suit with accessories for a young boy.
I regularly see communion dresses but it's the first time I find a suit.
It is in very good condition.
Dating from the late 60s or 70s.

Black jacket and grey trousers.
Complete with its bow armband, a pocket square, a rosette with a mother of pearl cross attached.

Jacket and trousers are wool / polyester mix.
The jacket has lovely details and lining.
The armband and rosette feel like silk but are syntehtic.
Rosette and armband are stitched to the jacket but could easily be removed (just a few stitches).
Trousers have six inside buttons for braces. waist is quite high.

Some small imperfections due to age and use:
- the buttons are worn,
- the armband, square pocket and rosette have small rust stains. Not very visible in the photos but slightly more in real life.
- two small holes on the trousers near buttons.

It was preserved well by the previous owner.

Rise 29 cm / 11.41 inches
Leg width at cuff 20 cm / 7.87 inches
7 cm / 2.75 inches of fabric turned into the cuff

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
