Antique hand painted porcelain statue of Our Lady of Pontmain. She carries a red crucifix and is standing on a cloud.
The figurine is hollow and marked 'Importé' (Imported) inside.
Late 19th or early 20th century.
She is very unusual as she is carrying a slightly different than usual red crucifix. 
Normally there is a second horizontal bar with 'Jesus-Christ' written in red on a white background. 
Here the letters are gold and written directly on her dress. She also has a second red cross on her dress which I had never seen before.
Some small imperfections due to age and use such as small stains, scratches or colour fade.
The gold paint has faded in small parts. 
The black paint of the veil has lost its shine and seems uneven.
