Vintage pair of red cotton church banners with gold stars, crosses and borders.
From France.
The top of each banner is nailed to a wooden bar.
Gold wire is attached to the sides of the bars so the banners can be hung on the wall.
The gold and black printed designs have faded because of use and folds. This is especially visible at the bottom of both banners.
The banners are made of four parts stitched together (the central part, two side borders and the bottom border).
There are imperfections from age and heavy usage, such as stains, dark discolouration, creases or small holes. Both banners have dark stains. One banner is torn at the bottom (visible in the last photograph).
There is some fraying on the sides as the cotton was just cut and not hemmed (except in small parts).
Width: approx. 115 cm / 45.27 inches but the bars at the top are slightly wider (118 cm / 46.45 inches )
Total length (not including wire): approx. 265 cm / 104.33 inches
The banners are not precisely the same size. There seem to be a one or two centimeter difference in width and length.
Weight of each banner 800 grams. The cotton is fairly thin.

DELIVERIES

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.
'Sales tax' is for US customers only.

- For US CUSTOMERS: the new tariff is added at the checkout under the name 'Sales tax'. IF YOU ARE BUYING AS A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION, MESSAGE ME AS YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE TO PAY IT.
Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
