Beautiful and unusual metal statue of St Anthony of Padua with the Infant Jesus standing on the book. Jesus is approaching Anthony's face with one hand.
Early 20th century.
The metal is gold painted but the colour is faded or completely gone in large places. A dark silver metal is visible underneath.
'St A. de Padoue' is written in French at the feet of the saint.
Anthony is standing on a large pedestal (completely attached). There is a cross on the front and the Sacred Heart at the back.
Name of a workshop at the back of the statue but there is a small hole in the writting so I can't quite read it.
Some scratches and surface imperfections to the metal. It has darkened in large parts.
A previous owner added some card underneath to seal the base.
One foot of the pedestal has been repaired or replaced. It is not obvious immediately but it has a slightly different shape and texture. It is at the back.
This is a beautiful piece that is quite different from the St Anthony statues I usually find as Jesus is standing.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
