Rare crucifix made of wood and bone with a small dried rosewood branch from Palm Sunday in the style commonly called 'Jansenist'.
The figure of Christ has been carved from one piece of bone.
The bone is uncleaned and has discolored naturally. The aging allows Christ's body and facial expression to be clearly visible.

There is a nail on the top part of the cross but the INRI inscription has been lost.

Overall condition is good though there is some scuffing to the wood as well as natural discoloration to the figure. Please note, this crucifix is home made and none of the angles are perfect!

Highly collectable!

Overall height 24 cm / 9.4"
Height of Jesus figure 13.5 cm / 5.12"
Width base 8.5 cm / 3.15"
Width across crucifix 12.5 cm / 4.72"
