Unusual French antique Holy water font. In the centre is a depiction in plaster of the Infant Jesus holding his Cross with the crown of thorns.
The plaster part is behind a protective glass and was placed in a wooden frame with a cross at the top. There is also a gold painted metal frame around the glass. This second frame has a cross at the top too.
A porcelain receptacle is attached at the bottom.
The metal frame is nailed to the wood. The tiny nails are rusty. The metal has lost its colour in places and have stains and scratches. There are also small dents.
The depiction of Jesus is slightly discoloured and has small stains. Some small particles or dust visible under the glass.
The black painted wood has some wear, small stains and scratches.
The glass has small scratches and marks.
The porcelain was painted but the paint has faded or is gone in places.
The back of the wooden plaque is not flat as the depiction of Jesus is much thicker.
Labels at the back and a small loop.
Late 19th or very early 20th century.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
