French antique handmade and handwritten religious prayer quotes booklet.
The cover is made of strong paper covered with velvet, gold paper and drawings. It has faded / discoloured in large parts. The gold paper is getting unstuck in some places.
The quotes are handwritten in purple ink on folded paper (leporello booklet). There are 7 pages with quotes from St Augustine, St Francis de Sales or from Mgr de La Bouillerie for instance. Some quotes have no name attached.
The pages can be completely unfolded when pulling the gold paper attached at the end.
The paper has some holes and is worn as seen in the photos. There are small stains and imperfections. The ink is faded in places.
Inside is a blue cloth bookmark that was folded. It has a cut paper frame with an image of Mary attached.
The blue has faded and discoloured in places. The ribbon is fraying at the end. The paper frame has some small parts missing.
This booklet is slightly irregular as it was made by hand.
A truly beautiful, unique but delicate piece!

Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.
- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.
- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.
- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.
- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.
- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS
- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.
- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.
- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
