French antique church banner made of cotton and coloured glued paper. From a convent in the south of France.
This one has the initials IHS in its centre.

The top of the banner is a solid wooden bar sewn into the fabric.
One loop and string attached to the wooden bar.
The yellow cotton is thin, slightly see-through and a bit shiny.

I have many other banners from the same convent. Most of them will have an inscription in ink at the back to identify the motif and the partly erased stamp from the convent.

Imperfections, such as stains, creases or holes, commensurate with age and use are to be expected:
- the paper is peeling or is damaged in places
- the loop that is on most banners at the top has made holes or damages when the banner was rolled and stored.
- staining and discolouration
- small holes
- wear at the top and sometimes tears or stains
- asymetrical / irregular design
- metallic paint has corroded
- creases and damage at the bottom because they were in stotage for a long time.

DELIVERIES

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.
'Sales tax' is for US customers only.

- For US CUSTOMERS: the new tariff is added at the checkout under the name 'Sales tax'. IF YOU ARE BUYING AS A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION, MESSAGE ME AS YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE TO PAY IT.
Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
