Antique Holy water font with an angel holding the shell-shaped stoup. 
The angel is attached to a plaque (most likely wood) covered with red velvet and backed with paper. 
A small loop at the back to hang on the wall.
Some scratches, marks and imperfections commensurate with age and use. 
The velvet is completely worn in places as seen in the photographs.
A beautiful and unusual piece!
