Beautiful antique altar antependium with IHS Christogram. 
Gold material made with metallic  thread. Gold metallic braid at the bottom.
Red cotton backing and white cotton stitched at the top. There are no loops or hooks to attach.
It has been heavily used as seen in the photographs.
The threads are very worn on the embroidered parts and sometimes missing. Some parts are undone and unstitched.
There are stains and discoloured parts. Small tears and large worn parts at the front.
Small imperfections such as pulls, marks or small holes too.
The white cotton is very discoloured, stained and worn. Small holes and stains in the red lining.
It is still a beautiful piece that could be used again after a bit of care!
