Napoleon III style black wood oval frame with domed glass. 
Brown hair composition. Dated 9th November 1920 (in French) and has the initials MC.

The frame has some small faults as can be seen in the photographs. 
The glass moves slightly in the frame when handled (This is very common with that type of frames).
The hair composition is beautilful and seems intact. 
It is attached to glass that is broken in places. It doesn't move though.

Backed with black paper (slightly damaged) and ready to hang! 
Written on the label at the back: "Souvenir très précieux des cheveux à cette chère dame Thiriot écédée le 9-9bre-1920.
Offert par Madame Martin à ma petite maman." which translates as "Very precious souvenir of the hair to this dear lady Thiriot who passed away on 9th November1920
Given by Madame Martin to my dear mother."
