Antique lithograph of St Germain L'Auxerrois church in Paris.
It is a book plate from 'Paris dans sa splendeur. Monuments, vues, scènes historiques, description et histoire.'
Printed and edited by Henry Charpentier in the 1860s.

Drawings and lithographs by Philippe Benoist for the most part and with the help of photography.
The book is usually in 3 volumes and comes with texts from different writers. It looks like the lithographs I have were never bound in a book.

As I do not have the complete book I'm selling the plates separately. There are more listed in my shop and more to come!
I will always combine postage on multiple purchases- just contact me for a quote.

I acquired these illustrations in this current condition. Condition varies so please examine the photos. Most have worn edges with with small tears and age marks like browning and spotting (slightly darker in person). Some damaged corners and yellowing. Some pages have fold marks and creases.
Not necessarily printed straight or in centre of page.
This is an original not a modern photocopy.

Each page measures approximately 50.3x 34.6 cm / 19.8 x 13.38 inches.
The printed area (not including text) is about 36 x 25 cm / 14.17 × 9.84 inches.

DELIVERIES

- Import taxes and duty are the buyer's responsibility.
'Sales tax' is for US customers only.

- For US CUSTOMERS: the new tariff is added at the checkout under the name 'Sales tax'. IF YOU ARE BUYING AS A RELIGIOUS INSTITUTION, MESSAGE ME AS YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE TO PAY IT.
Everything will be shipped with an invoice and the proper HS custom number but I can't guarantee US customs won't change the tariff.

- I aim to post everything in 3 working days. Everything is sent with a tracking number.
Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I will only ship to the address provided during checkout. I won't post to an address sent in a separate message after a purchase.

- A part of the shipping price includes recycling taxes and packaging material.
Everything is packaged safely sometimes using recycled materials.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

- If a parcel arrives damaged, it is the buyer's responsibility to file a complaint immediately with the delivery service. Any insurance is void unless this is done at delivery time.


RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- If there is anything you are unsure about or if you need further information about an item to re-assure you please ask before buying. I aim to provide as much information as possible and make my listings as accurate as I can.

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
If a returned item is received damaged the loss in value will be deducted.

- Refunds will be issued when I get the item back.
