French antique Our Lady of La Salette metal holy water font.
It is attached to a wooden plaque covered with red velvet .
Late 19th century.
The metal was once painted gold but the colour has almost completely faded.
The recipient has been heavily used and the metal has corroded (inside, ouside and just avove). I have treated the metal so it doesn't get worse but I would recommand not using water. There are still blue and white corrosion marks and a bumpy texture.
The velvet is worn and discoloured / slightly stained in places. The pile goes in different directions but it is still in fairly good condition for its age.
The figurine of Our Lady moves freely but it stays upright when hung on the wall.
A loop at the back to hang.
The paper backing is a bit damaged from use.
Some marks and imperfections commensurate with age and use such as scratches or tarnish marks.
This is a beautiful piece desite the imperfections. I rarely find La Salette souvenirs!

Parcels will require a signature at the time of delivery.

- I can’t predict how long Customs may hold on to items for inspection.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

- I accept returns only if the buyer contacts me within 2 weeks of delivery. Only the item price can be refunded. Postage costs will not be refunded.
